This 4-day class provides a thorough overview of the SolidWorks approach to design concepts.  It includes the fundamentals of part, assembly and drawing techniques. People should take this class if they are relatively new to SolidWorks, or have been using SolidWorks for a while and feel they could be more productive. 

This is a pre-requisite for all of our SolidWorks training classes.

This 2-day class provides a basic overview of the SolidWorks approach to design concepts.  The goal of this course is to teach you how to create engineering drawings of parts and assemblies.  The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts needed to successfully make engineering drawings.

This 2-day class provides an extended review of advanced surfacing and modeling features. This includes lofts, sweeps, advanced blending and filleting. This class will provide students the tools they need to design better and more competent products. This class is designed for users that need to produce complex geometry for their designs.

This 4 day course is designed to make SolidWorks users productive more quickly with the SolidWorks Simulation Professional analysis package. Starting with the SolidWorks Simulation material, this training class provides an in-depth coverage on the basics of Finite Element analysis, covering the entire process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies. From there, it expands into the advanced functionality of the software covering topics such as linear stress analysis, heat transfer analysis, frequency analysis, stability analysis based on linear buckling concepts, and pressure vessel modulus. Examples of parts and assemblies including those with various gap/contact conditions are reviewed.


Prerequisites: SolidWorks experience and a basic understanding of the concepts behind FEA approach to stress/strain analysis.

SolidWorks Simulation* Premium:  Dynamics
This 2-day course is targeted for the users who would like to become productive
in analyzing structures subjected to various types of dynamic loading.  The material covered includes the time dependent analysis (force loads as well as motion shock loading examples), harmonic analysis and random vibration analysis (MILD-STD-810F example is included), response spectrum analysis, and introduction to nonlinear dynamics simulation.

This 2-day class will raise your SolidWorks Simulation FEA skills to the next level!  The class provides an overview on a wide range of nonlinear structural and mechanical analysis topics.  You will learn how to deal with models that exhibit large displacements and/or yielding, discuss and practice the use of many material models available in SolidWorks Simulation Premium and, most importantly, how to drive a non-linear analysis to successful completion.
